The transaction included a \u20ac14m junior debt investment from Wallonie Entreprendre, alongside approximately \u20ac50m of senior debt financing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Auvelais BESS project, developed by Energy Solutions Group (\u201cESG\u201d), a Belgian electricity producer, comprises Tesla lithium-ion battery systems with a discharge capacity of 76.5 MW over a four-hour period, for a total storage capacity of 306 MWh. The project is directly connected to the high-voltage grid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Construction began in March 2026, with a scheduled COD in June 2027.
